We thought she was broke down . She walked in front of her car which is parked on a very bad curve picked up a dead animal that was laying on the road and was getting ready to throw it in our yard. My husband quickly yelled out the window and ask her what she was doing and to please not throw the animal in the yard. So she picked it up and threw it in the woods. She said she did not want the buzzard to get hit by a car while trying to eat the animal. How often do you see a buzzard dead on the road?
She got in her car which was still parked on the road holding up traffic.
Well, today we were driving up Rt 48 and we saw someone running towards us on the road waving their hands and yelling . We thought someone was hurt really bad ahead because there was a car pulled over to the side of the road. The closer we got we realized it was the same women trying to save a tiny turtle. She picked up the turtle and put it in the field. I could hardly believe what I was seeing.We are really mixed up in this country! I don't like to see any animal get hurt but I am not about to risk my life or cause an accident to save an animal.
Someone was just telling me about a situation in a grocery store where a lady fell and not one person stopped to help her. They just kept walking out around her.
What is this world coming too?

That's funny because Joe just saw a lady out of her car in the Maineville area with traffic stopped while she was shooing a duckling off the road. Wonder if it was the same lady.

It sounds like this lady is a little "off center"! Unbelieveable that someone would get out of their car at such a dangerous curve to remove a dead animal so the buzzard's don't get killed. And the turtle? Oh, my! That's almost as bad as trying to save the whale's while we murder thousands and thousands of babies. People are really, really messed up in their thinking!!
